      Become a Certified Scrum Master® with Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Bob Schatz (CST)   Bob is a leader in successfully implementing agile development techniques, such as Scrum and XP, and driving culture changes in large organizations. Bob often speaks at industry events talking about the benefits and challenges of bringing agile techniques into an organization.   Bob will teach the Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster course using highly-interactive exercises that will give you the skills needed to work with Scrum teams in complex enterprise environments. Scrum Course Overview This course will feature case studies, games and interactive exercises that will teach you how to accelerate your Scrum practice. Upon successful completion of this course, you will: Be prepared to pass the Certified ScrumMaster test (new and revised for 2019) Be qualified to lead teams in any environment or industry as a Scrum Master Have the opportunity to network with industry leaders and Agile professionals Have access to a 2-year membership with Scrum Alliance Have access to membership benefits to join local user groups, online social networks, and additional member-only resources. PDU and SEU Credits: This course provides 16 SEUs of the 70 needed for the Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification. This course also earns 16 PMI PDUs and 16 needed for the PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification and PMP certification.   CSM Class Certification After successful completion of the 2-day Certified ScrumMaster course, students are eligible to take the CSM Assessment Exam online through the Scrum Alliance. Since 2002, he has been a leader in the agile community and has helped many companies in their transition to agile development methods. Bob Schatz served as VP of Development for Primavera Systems, Inc. where he was responsible for leading the team that develops Primavera's software solutions for Enterprise Project, Resource, and Portfolio Management. This is where he worked with Ken Schwaber and Bob Martin to create one of the first true agile success stories in the transition to using Scrum and XP. Before joining Primavera, Bob spent seven years at Liquent, Inc., managing the development of revolutionalry publishing software targeted for the pharmaceutical market, and 12 years at GE Aerospace/Lockheed Martin, where he held various management positions for large-scale development projects for US government agencies and the Department of Defense. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Temple University, a Masters degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Doctorate of Management in Strategic Leadership from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.      Class Information Length: 2-days, with a break for lunch. Light breakfast and morning/afternoon snacks are provided. Attendance: Instructors expect attendees to participate for the full two days of class and are unable to certify students who miss more than one hour of class. You are allowed one transfer, but it must be to the same class type and can only be transferred for the next upcoming class.   What is the cancellation policy? A 90% refund will be issued for cancellations made in 14 days or more from the start date of the course.
