      Rockin' At The Rickman

A night of old time rock 'n roll with a tribute to Chuck Berry, as performed by Butchwax & The Hollywoods and Billy Peek, former guitarist for Chuck Berry and Rod Stewart. Butch Wax & The Hollywoods is an 8 piece band, recently voted the #1 Band in Missouri - they have been performing at sold out events throughout the Midwest and United States for 33 years! Hear the classic songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s with hits from Frankie Valli, Rick Nelson, Johnny Rivers, Chuck Berry, The Supremes, Smokey Robinson, The Righteous Brothers, Martha & The Vandellas, Elvis, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Three Dog Night, Al Green, Jackie Wilson, Aretha Franklin, Mitch Ryder, Hall & Oates, The Beatles, The Blues Brothers, Etta James, Tina Turner, The Beach Boys, and more! Billy Peek is a St. Louis institution, a living legend who writes the history of his city with the music he plays on his guitar. He learned his craft listening to St. Louis blues musicians, including Albert King, Ike Turner, and the great Chuck Berry. Then he went on to international recognition as a rock and roll musician for his work with Rod Stewart's band. But wherever Billy Peek goes, he takes a little of St. Louis with him in the hard-driving, boogie-woogie rock and roll that he says tells a story and tells it in overdrive.
