AGENDA Welcome How Do You MD? Lifetime Achievement Honorees Music Performance Healthcare Heroes Award Ceremony SPEAKERS John A. Fairman, Chief Executive Officer, Delta Health Center Inc. John A. Fairman is a native of Cleveland, Mississippi and has been involved in the Health Center movement since its founding. With over 44 years of managerial experience in community-based primary care delivery, Mr. Fairman is committed to making quality healthcare accessible to all patients in need. Mr. Fairman has served as President/ Chief Executive Officer of several organizations and was appointed to lead Delta Health Center, Inc. in 2009. Delta Health Center, which opened its doors in 1965, is the first rural Federally Qualified Health Center in the United States, located in historic Mound Bayou, Mississippi. Mr. Fairman is currently on the Board of Directors of the Mississippi Primary Health Care Association, a nonprofit membership organization that represents 21 Community Health Centers (CHCs) that serve over 300,000 patients at 190 sites throughout Mississippi. He is also the current Board Chairman of Mississippi Health Safe Net, a Health Center Controlled Network with 13 collaborating member organizations. Mr. Fairman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Hardin-Simmons University and received his Master’s in Health Care Administration from Trinity University.
