● A curated online crafts exhibition specially focused on home furnishings and décor from October 31st to November 30, 2020
● Brings together a range of unique products by 15 handpicked artisans from across the country- from Kashmir to Karnataka and Gujarat to Nagaland
Bengaluru, Friday, October 30, 2020: The Shilp Route is an effort to connect consumers to the artisans directly through an authentic and relevant engagement. Titan CSR, in collaboration with Social Venture Partners, Bangalore presents “The Shilp Route”, a curated online crafts exhibition, powered by GoCoop. The exhibition will showcase products of 15 handpicked craftsmen/artisans from across the country. Coinciding with the onset of the festive season, The Shilp Route online exhibition will go live from October 31st on www.gocoop.com for a period of 30 days, till November 30, 2020.
This initiative not only brings together artisans but also “Craft Patriots”, who are passionate about Indian crafts and have taken efforts to revive lost arts as well as helped the artisan communities through their individual ventures and networks.
The participating artisans have been handpicked both based on their unique product range as well as for their craftsmanship. Each of the products that are showcased is intricately designed and handmade with love and care.
Some of the products being showcased include handmade Kutchi carpets by Prakash Narainbhai Siju; Quilts by Dastkar Ranthambore; Tea lights, Dinnerware, Cookware from Studio Coppre; Cushion covers and Bed linen by Porgai; Papier mache flower vases and Trays from Urooj; Miniature Pichhavai paintings by Mohan Prajapati; Wall hangings, Cushions and Bags from Tubruk; Loin Loom products from Nagaland to name a few.
For most Indian households, the festive season is the time when families come together and indulge in festivities including redecorating their homes for a fresh look. The Shilp Route online exhibition provides them a perfect opportunity to pick up the best of the curated home furnishings and décor products at just the click of a button.
