      Black History Month Community Afternoon

      It Takes a Village Executive Director Darlene Taylor and cultural historian James Lane are the coordinators for the Community Afternoon on February 22th from 4 pm to 6 pm. This evening will include live performances of influential African American artist's work including James Weldon Johnson's poem "Creation," and will take place in the Corbin Gallery where exhibits can be viewed as well. A sampling of African American specialty dishes will follow.
