“Florida, Our Eden, Threatened by Climate Change”

Presented by Ariel Hoover, Chair, Climate Reality Leadership Corps, Lee County Chapter

Thursday, February 20, 2020, at 7 p.m. at the Collaboratory, 2031 Jackson Street, downtown Fort Myers

This program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

The program will explore the latest information on how climate change threatens Florida’s and the world’s iconic birds and wildlife, our economy, water and food supply, and health.
As one example, and because of climate change, Australia is in the grips of a nationwide bushfire emergency. We are asking for donations to help Australian wildlife, and when the fires have cleared, help restore their lost forests. Audubon of SW Florida will match any donations received at this program and send them to the World Wildlife Fund, https://www.wwf.org.au/get-involved/bushfire-emergency#gs.v76h40
