Economics for Kindergarten: Professional Development for DE Teachers

Delaware Kindergarten teachers are invited to attend this virtual professional learning opportunity where they will receive methods and resources to help effectively implement economics in their elementary school classroom.

A virtual variation of our very popular Economics for Kids program, Economics for Kindergarten explores grade-level appropriate children’s books and videos that teachers can use to teach economic and personal finance concepts to young students.

Concepts covered include goods and services, scarcity, saving, savings goals and making choices. Books will include Building a House, Benny’s Pennies and Just Saving My Money.

Participants will be mailed copies of all books and sent links to videos, PowerPoints, and lessons.

Professional development credit (1 hr) awarded.

Zoom link will be forwarded upon registration. Registration link found below.
