      2020 Presidential Candidate Forum

      ABOUT This forum will host candidates for the 2020 U.S. Presidential election.  To date, public conversations and debates have focused mainly on important domestic issues.  This event will explore several pressing global concerns in which the U.S. will play a vital role. THE OVERRIDING QUESTION  How would each candidate for President respond to the growing, complex, interdependent and interconnected global challenges? TOPICS The U.S. has a huge global footprint affecting critical, interrelated arenas including the world economy, deteriorating climate and environment, military action, nuclear arsenals, and global refugee and immigration pressures.  Along with the outsized U.S. footprint comes large responsibility.  PUBLIC PARTICIPATION When you order a ticket, we will invite you to submit questions, in writing, for candidates.  The organizers will select questions from those submitted. ALSO...  Old Brick is accessible via a chair lift. If you have other special needs please let us know at info@psriowa.org.  To simplify parking and reduce carbon footprint consider carpooling with others in traveling to attend the event.   FAQs   Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? No.   What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? On-street parking is available.  Also, free parking is available under the Tippe Business College Building with the entrance on Clinton Street.   What can I bring into the event? A small bag.  Security checks are likely.   How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Email your questions to info@psriowa.org.  More information is at https://psriowa.org.   Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, but for priority seating, your name must be on the early seating registration list that will be checked at the door.   Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Yes, provided you give the ticketed individuals name that appears on the list of those who have registered for tickets.     Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Yes.  However, the ticketed person will not be ensured priority seating.
