2021 Loveland Lake to Lake Triathlon

Loveland Lake to Lake Triathlon is proudly known for striking the perfect balance between being a very beginner-friendly race where athletes who are new to the sport can ask the questions they need to feel comfortable and have a successful day (everyone from our staff to volunteers, our sponsors, and other athletes are willing to help) and at the same time attracting a high level of talent from outside the state as well as athletes from CU and CSU. Every year this race is used by many as either their introduction to our amazing sport or their shot to qualify for USAT Nationals.

No matter the athlete’s background, everyone will be able to relish in our friendly local atmosphere, incredible volunteer support, a scenic course, and a shady venue that makes spectating enjoyable for the whole family (even a playground for the kids!). Athletes have described our course as…

Swim: Nearly glassy water that’s typically warmer 71-73 degrees due to its shallow depth.

Bike: Scenic with a little bit of everything – steady climb (but nothing unmanageable), technical spots, fast downhills, and a flat straightaway.

Run: Flat and fast out-and-back around the lake, catching a cool breeze off the water.
