      Join the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland for Maine's only dog-friendly (and dog-centric) beer festival, Ales for Tails! Ales for Tails is an afternoon of Maine-brewed beers, food truck deliciousness, and summer fun with your human and canine best friends. Our 2019 breweries include: Allagash Brewing Company, Austin Street Brewing, Banded Brewing, Bangor Beer Co, Barreled Souls, Bissell Brothers, Black Pug Brewing, Brewery Extrava, Brickyard Hollow, Definitive Brewing Company, Fore River Brewing Company, Foulmouthed Brewing, Foundation Brewing Company, Geary Brewing Co., Goodfire Brewing, Gritty's, Island Dog Brewing, Mason’s Brewing Company, Nuts & Bolts Brewing, Oxbow Brewing, Sebago Brewing Company, Shipyard Brewing Company, Wandering Whistler, and Waterville Brewing Company.  Local, delicious non-alcoholic beverages will be provided by Capt'n Eli's Soda.  Plus, visit dog-loving vendors for lots of freebies as well as a paw-some lineup of food trucks/carts: The Muthah Truckah, Maine-ly Meatballs, Totally Awesome Vegan Food Truck, Poke Maine, PB&ME, Pinky D's, The Lost Wombat, Hot Diggity Dog, BOGS Bakery, Twist and The Saltbox Cafe And, HP Hood will be serving up some delicious whipped cream doggie treats for your four-legged friends! Each admission includes tasting tickets for the brewery booths (eight 5-ounce pours). Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome (and encouraged!) to attend at no additional cost. Pre-purchased tickets are $35 per person, $50 at the door. Tickets for non-drinkers (attendees under 21) are $15 per person. All funds raised directly support the nearly 6,000 pets that depend on our life-saving work every year. Thank you for joining Ales for Tails and supporting pets in need! ABOUT PARKING AT THOMPSON’S POINT:Thompson's Point charges $5 per car for parking, please be prepared for this additional fee. Join us in thanking our 2019 Ales for Tails sponsors: EVENT FAQ’S – PLEASE READ:Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?IDs of all attendees will be checked at the door and bracelets will be provided to those 21 and older. Ticket holders under the age of 21 are welcome to enjoy the event at the $15 under-21 rate. The ARLGP strictly abides by Maine State Liquor Laws. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?**PARKING AT THOMPSON'S POINT IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 300 CARS** We strongly encourage you to take public transportation or carpool to Ales for Tails. Thompson's Point charges $5 per car that parks at the venue. Their overflow parking lots are located near the Mercy Hospital Campus, so carpooling helps ensure your spot in the TP lots! Other options include uber, lyft, taxi, amtrak or public transportation (make sure your ride is dog-friendly if you are bringing your pooch). I have a question. We must scan the code on your ticket for your admittance.The under 21 ticket is available for purchase for adults bringing child attendees under 21. Drinkers (and non-drinkers) 21 years of age and older should purchase the $35 admission ticket. What is the refund policy?Sorry, no refunds will be issued for this event. This is a rain-or-shine event. If you cannot attend, your ticket cost will still support the ARLGP’s life-saving work. My friend wants to come but isn't sure he/she can make it. Can she put a ticket on hold?No tickets can be placed on hold or reserved. A limited number of tickets will be available to purchase at the door for $50 each. Pre-purchasing your ticket online is encouraged.
