      Feeling stressed? Discover a new way to relax with Yoga Nidra!

      Practiced lying down, Yoga Nidra is for everybody, regardless of age, fitness level or experience! You will learn how to relax your nervous system, focus your mind, and balance your emotions. Regular practice of yoga nidra can help relieve symptoms of insomnia, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, depression, and everyday stress. Ongoing research continues to test and prove the positive benefits of this practice!

      Each class will include a discussion on the philosophical aspects of the practice, gentle stretching to prepare the body for stillness, and the guided meditation that leads to the state of Yoga Nidra. You will be guided through various breathing, body scanning, and visualization techniques that take you into deep states of relaxation and integration. This series will allow you to dive deep into the practice with new techniques introduced each week and a new video each week so you can practice at home.

      The physical body tends to get cool when lying in stillness for sustained periods of time. Warm cozy clothes help to keep the body comfortable for the duration of the practice. Blankets, bolsters, mats, and blocks will be provided although you are welcome to bring your own blankets, pillows, etc. if you like.

      Cost: Payment required - $60 for members $75 for non members
