Springfield Jaycees Stuff the Sleigh for Springfield
The Springfield Jaycees, a young persons’ leadership organization comprised entirely of volunteers, are asking members of the community to support several local causes and Step Up for Springfield in its time of need.
As part of the downtown Holiday Walks, we will set up on Jackson Street in front of the Illinois Governor’s Mansion and hope to “Stuff the Sleigh for Springfield.”
The chapter will be collecting gently-used and new books, new still-packaged toys, and new warm weather gear for local organizations such as the Northside Children’s Community Library, HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital, and others. We will also be collecting canned goods and other non-perishable food items for distribution to local micro pantries.

We hope to bring the Holiday Lights Parade back and better than ever in 2021.
