      Murph4Vets Virtual Wellness Challenge

      Are you sporting a new Covid-19 gut? Are you missing your gym? Are you struggling to find a new routine after everything changed? Or are you just trying to figure out how to start a fitness routine? Then we have the Challenge for you! This is an all around Wellness Challenge for everyone from the avid Crossfitter to the couch potato! Work at your own pace, at your own ability level, but still challenge yourself to grow in mind, body, and spirit!

      In honor of Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, COVID-19 Social Distancing, and in light of our focus on inspiring people to live fulfilling lives in general, Jack Luttge and Rachael Beckemeyer have teamed up to offer the Murph4Vets Virtual Wellness Challenge!

      From Nov 1st to Nov 11th, here is your challenge:

      1. Complete a full Murph:

      • Run 1 Mile
      • 100 Pull Ups
      • 200 Push Ups
      • 300 Squats
      • Run 1 Mile

      We know this sounds daunting, but you can do this! You can do it all at once, do a half Murph one day, half the next, or even spread out for the 11 days of the challenge. There will also be instructional videos in our private Facebook group on proper form and variations for easier difficulty levels, if you are not able to do the full movements. 

      2. Express gratitude or generosity towards someone once each day. Thank a Veteran, thank a first responder, thank a teacher, thank someone else who has done something meaningful in your life. Give something away. Pay it forward. Buy someone's coffee in the drive thru. Donate to Charity. Do SOMETHING positive every day for 11 days.

      3. Read 1 chapter of the Bible or another spiritual book each day. Bible is recommended, but any uplifting book to inspire your soul counts, as long as you read a chapter a day. There will be other book recommendations in our private Facebook group. 

      4. In the week and a half, make 1 permanent, positive change to your financial situation. Start a budget, start a savings plan, review and change insurance, refinance debt. There will be recommendations for this as well in our private Facebook group, as well as access to an exclusive webinar on budgeting for beginners.

      What you get:

      Live tracking of your results where you can see how far you have come and see how you stack up versus the other participants. Also, all participants will be granted access to a private Facebook group where you will be part of a community of people all with the same goal, encouraging each other and sharing ideas, as well as daily coaching videos during the week and a half challenge around proper form for the workouts, variations on the movements for different difficulty levels, book recommendations, and an exclusive webinar on budgeting.

      Your entire entry fee is being donated to Got Your Six Support Dogs, a non-profit agency that provides support dogs to veterans who suffer from PTSD. We believe that paying an entry fee makes you more likely to stick with the program, and Got Your 6 is an excellent organization in our community with a valuable service for our veterans. Please consider signing up for your own wellbeing as well as the good of this organization. You will also have the option of donating even more to the organization through our DONATE portal, please consider doing so!
