      A walking tour & glimpse into some of Woodbury's legends, burial customs, superstitions, and graveyard clues Woodbury is filled with stories of the women, men, and children who have called it home. Join Ehris & Velya as you explore with EMF detectors, and learn about: Joseph and Mary Judson, who lost their two young sons to "a bladder in the throat" (diptheria) in 1712 Moll Cramer, whose blacksmith husband suspected her of "holding familiarity with Satan" Epidemics in Woodbury, and the first documented smallpox vaccine - by a 1000AD Buddhist nun, who blew dried, ground-up smallpox scabs into people's nostrils You can’t change history, but it can change you! The distance traveled is about one mile. Walks meet at the green picnic tables on the Woodbury Public Library lawn. Wear comfortable shoes. You may want to bring a flashlight to read some of the gravestones. Parking: One of the most convenient places to park is at the Woodbury Public Library or Woodbury Senior Center.
